At the invitation of the CPAFFC, a delegation from the Association for Sri Lanka China Social and Cultural Cooperation headed by its President Mr. Indrananda Abeysekera visited Beijing and Shandong Province between 24th and 29th October. 

In Beijing, Vice President Hu Sishe of the CPAFFC met with the delegation and exchanged views about the implementation of Sri Lanka China people-to-people exchange programs that were initiated during Hu’s visit to Sri Lanka earlier this June. Issues regarding the Third China South Asia Friendship Organizations’ Forum to be held in Sri Lanka in 2015 were also discussed at the meeting.

In Shandong, Executive Vice President Mr. Zhang Jigang of the Shandong People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries met with the delegation and signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Strengthening Friendship & Cooperation Between Association for Sri Lanka-China Social and Cultural Cooperation and Shandong People''s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The delegation also held meetings with the Shandong University of Arts, CCPIT Shandong Sub-council and etc.
