Welcome to the website of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC)!

The foundation of relations between nations lies in the affinity between their peoples, and this affinity between peoples stems from mutual understanding. As a national people’s organization of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) engaged in people-to-people diplomacy, the CPAFFC, under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC), has adhered to the Independent Foreign Policy of Peace for nearly 70 years since its establishment. The CPAFFC’s mission is to enhance friendship between peoples, promote international cooperation, safeguard world peace, and foster shared development. The CPAFFC has made invaluable contributions by building extensive and deep friendships with people across the international community and around the world, sowing seeds of friendship between peoples, paving the way for better state-to-state relations, and playing a unique role in promoting international cooperation.

President Xi Jinping has emphasized that the foundation of relations between nations lies in their peoples. People-to-people diplomacy is fundamental to enhancing friendship among peoples and advancing state-to-state relations. It is also an essential part of overall national diplomacy. The CPAFFC will rally closely around the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core on the new journey of national rejuvenation and building a stronger country. Under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, particularly Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy, we will remain mindful of national interests, stay committed to making friends for the country, deepen friendly exchanges, promote mutually beneficial cooperation, tell China’s story well, and foster connectivity between peoples. We will fully leverage our role as a leader in people-to-people diplomacy, a pillar in public diplomacy, and a bridge in local government exchanges between China and foreign countries, contributing to the overall national development and diplomatic agenda.
