On August 17th, President Li Xiaolin met with former Governor Brian Schweitzer from the state of Montana, U.S.
President Li said, Governor Schweitzer took an active part in China-U.S. Governors Forum and many other events organized by CPAFFC when he was in office, playing an important role in China-U.S. exchanges. She hoped that Governor Schweitzer would continue his efforts in enhancing bilateral relation and cooperation after he left office.Governor Schweitzer spoke highly of the great contributions President Li has made for U.S.-China friendly ties. He also expressed his appreciation to CPAFFC for hosting his several missions to China. He said that the two countries shared closer cooperation and mutual interdependence. He is willing to continue to play an active role in promoting friendly cooperation between the two sides.
