President Li Xiaolin Meets with Japanese Ambassador

At the invitation of Japanese Ambassador YOKOI YUTAKA, CPAFFC   President Li Xiaolin met with him in Japanese Ambassador’s residence on August 9.

President Li said, China and Japan are close neighbors, and this requires the both sides to choose the road of developing the friendly relations, which is also in line with the fundamental interests of the two peoples. The Chinese side attaches great importance to the Sino-Japanese relations. On the basis of the four political documents and in the spirit of reviewing the history and looking into the future, the Chinese side is willing to work together with Japan to implement the four principal consensuses reached by the both sides and push the bilateral ties to the normal lane. CPAFFC and CJFA (China-Japan Friendship Association) would like to make efforts to enhancing the friendly feeling of the two peoples and developing the public support of the two countries.

YOKOI YUTAKA spoke highly of the actively contributions made by CPAFFC and CJFA for a long time to developing the friendly relations between China and Japan. He said that they are willing to strengthen the cooperation with CPAFFC to promote the friendly exchanges of the two countries in various fields, expand the personage exchanges of the both sides and improve the bilateral relations. 

Mr. Song Jingwu, Vice President of CPAFFC, Mr. ITO KOICHI, Minister of the Japanese Embassy in China and others, attended the meeting.
