At the invitation of CPAFFC, Mr. Kim Sungyup, ex-Council Member of the Korean Foundation, led a 120-member delegation of the Republic of Korea Young Friendship Envoys and paid a visit to Beijing, Hebei and Zhejiang in China from 26 October to 2 November 2014.  The delegation consisted of entrepreneurs, artists, deaf-mutes and middle school students. Vice President Hu Sishe of CPAFFC, Vice Governor Qin Boyong of Hebei Province, President Yang Quanshe and Executive Vice President Ye Changqing of Hebei Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Vice Mayor Yan Liying of Baoding city, and Executive Vice President Chen Aizhen of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries respectively met with for the ROK delegation.

Under the theme of “Journey of the Romance of Three Kingdoms”, the delegation visited San Yi Palace where the story of “taking pledge of brotherhood in peach garden” took place, Temple of Zhao Yun and the home village of Sun Quan. Besides, activities were also arranged for the delegation with Chinese enterprises, economic development area, universities, foreign language school, art school, special-education institute and youth organization.

The visit exchange program of China and ROK young friendship envoys was initiated by the CPAFFC and the Korean Foundation in 2009. About 2300 students from both countries have participated up to now.
