Organized by CPAFFC and the Zambia Embassy in China, the celebration of 50th Anniversary of China-Zambia Diplomatic Relations was held in Beijing on October 24, 2014. H.E. Mr. Abdul’ahat Abdulrixit, President of the Chinese-African People’s Friendship Association, Mr. Hu Sishe, Vice President of CPAFFC, H.E. Madame Getrude Kasuba Mwape, Ambassador of Zambia to China and other 300 geusts from all fields attended the celebration.

In his speech, Mr. Hu said that the two countries have frequently exchanged high-level visits, enhanced mutual political trust, supported each other and kept close copperation in international affairs in the past 50 years. China hopes to work closely with Zambia to push the bilateral relations to a higher level and let the China-Zambia friendship pass on generation after generation.

Ambassador Mwape said in his speech that Zambia-China friendship is forged by the old leaders. Zambia appreciates the great help from China in its development and hopes to work with China to further promote the cooperation in all fields.
