On May 8, CPAFFC Vice President Song Jingwu met with Japanese Orphans Thank Chinese Parents Society delegation.

Vice President Song welcomed them home and encouraged them to play an active role in enhancing the mutual understanding and friendly feeling of the two peoples by taking advantage of their special identities in the Sino-Japanese relations. 

Leader of the delegation TSUNEMATSU MASARU and Deputy Leader of the delegation SUGAWARA SACHIKO thanked Vice President Song Jingwu for taking his time to meet them and introduced the situation about Japanese Orphans Thank Chinese Parents Society and activities developed by it. They expressed that they would bear in mind the kindness of Chinese government, Chinese people and their Chinese foster parents, and would continue to develop various activities to promote the exchanges and help more Japanese people to learn about China, so as to make contributions to develop the cause of Sino-Japanese friendship.
