At the invitation of CPAFFC, Hon. Mr. Abadulla Gemeda Dago, Speaker of House of People’s Representatives of Ethiopia visited Beijing, Hubei and Tianjin from October 31 to November 8, 2014.

During the visit in Beijing, H.E Mr. Zhang Dejiang, Chairperson of the Standing Committee of National People’s Congress (NPC) met with the delegation. H.E. Mr. Abdul’ahat Abdulrixit, President of the Chinese-African People’s Friendship Association and the Vice Chairman of the 11th National Committee, CPPCC hosted a banquet for the delegation. The speaker also visited the College of Defence Studies, National Defence University, where the speaker studied and met with Major General Lanzhitao.

During the visit, the Speaker held meetings with Tianjin Municipal People’s Congress and Hubei Provincial People’s Congress share the experiences on lawmaking and national governance. Then delegation also visited Three Gorges Project, Guanguan New Village, Wuhan Dongfeng Vehicles and Tianjin Economic and Development Area.
