On Nov. 4th, 2014, Qiangba Puncog Vice-Chairman of Standing Committee of National People’s Congress (NPC) of China met with Senator Teofilo Torres Corzo, President of Committee of Asia-Pacific Foreign Relations of the Mexican Senate who was visiting China at the CPAFFC’s invitation. Xie Yuan, Vice President of CPAFFC attended the meeting.

Senator Torres was leading a delegation formed by the officials from the Mexican Senate, Chamber of Deputies, state governments and entrepreneurs, paying a special trip to China to attend the 4th Seminar on Economy and Business of China-Mexico Strategic Partners in 21st Century which is organized by the CPAFFC.
