Sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China, the CAPFA has organized Seminars for Officials from Friendship Cities of African Countries and Professional Programs for Leaders of the Friendship-with-China Organizations in African Countries every year since 2008, with the aim to promote the exchanges of experiences of Chinese and African sister city development and capacity building of Chinese and African NGOs, and to further the people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between China and Africa.
