The CPAFFC delegation led by Vice President Xie Yuan attended The 22nd United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP22) in Marrakech, Morocco on November 14th. The delegation presented the “High-level Forum on Climate Change South-South Cooperation” in the China Pavilion, and discussed the climate change issue with representatives from other developing countries.
The COP22 is the first United Nations Climate Change Conference since The Paris Agreement formally went into effect. The representatives from more than 190 countries and regions discussed about the implementation of The Paris Agreement, expressed the willingness and determination to cope with climate change through global collaboration. The conference issued “Global Climate Risk Index 2017” on November 8th.
