Vice President Song Jingwu Attends “Move Next, China- Germany Youth Dialogue”

“Move Next, China-Germany Youth Dialogue” was held jointly by the CPAFFC and BMW Group in Ullens Center for Contemporary Art of the Dashanzi Art District on 6th, May 2016. Mr. Song Jingwu, Vice President of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries(CPAFFC), Mr, Olaf Kastner, the President and CEO of the Greater China of BMW Group, Mr. Thomas Becker, Vice President of Governmental Affairs of BMW Group, Mr. Adam Mutwil, Counsellor(transportation) of the Embassy of Germany in China, attended the activity and delivered  speeches respectively. More than 60 students, professors and scholars from China and Germany were present in this dialogue and visited the exhibition of the BMW.

Vice President Song spoke highly of the social responsibilities practiced by the BMW Group in China for many years. He hoped that the youth could be stimulated to think about the way to travel and their social responsibilities in future and strengthen the exchanges through this dialogue.

President Olaf Kastner said, this year marks the 100th anniversary for BMW Group. As a German automobile enterprise rooted in China, BMW Group has been developing with a prospective idea. He hoped to build a high-end exchanges platform for the two countries’ youth.

"Move Next, China-Germany Youth Dialogue" is one of the series activities of the 2016 China-Germany youth exchanges year. The youth of the two countries developed a positive discussion on the factors influenced the resources to travel, urbanization and lifestyle, and they also gave many creative suggestions from the views of the commerce model, social responsibilities and transportation means in future.
