The Awarding Ceremony of “Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence Friendship Award” was held in Islamabad, Pakistan on April 20, 2015. Visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping and Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain attended the awarding ceremony. CPAFFC President Li Xiaolin presided over the ceremony. President Xi Jinping conferred the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence Friendship Award on the following groups and individuals for their long-term commitment to China-Pakistan friendship. They are All Pakistan China Friendship Association, the National University of Modern Languages, the National Management College and Earthquake Medical Relief Mission China-2008. Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Ali Ahmad Jan and Masood Khan were also granted the award.

CPAFFC President Li Xiaolin met and held talks with the awarded groups and individuals before the ceremony. She congratulated them on winning the award, and expressed her appreciations of their long-term dedication to the development of mutual understanding and friendship between Chinese and Pakistani people. Li said, China and Pakistan are good neighbors, good friends, good partners and good bothers. Under the care and cultivation of successive leaders from both countries, China-Pakistan relationship has maintained healthy and steady development and has become a model for bilateral relations. The two sides always understand, trust and support each other on major issues concerning their core interests. She hoped they will continue their efforts and write a new chapter of China-Pakistan friendship. The CPAFFC is willing to strengthen cooperation with all the friends and make innovations to host more events which will enhance mutual trust and benefit both peoples, so as to upgrade the bilateral relations to a higher level.

The representatives of the awarded groups and awarded individuals were deeply honored for winning the award They would spare no efforts to promote the further development of Pakistan-China people-to people friendship.
