Celebration of 50th Anniversary of China-Tanzania Diplomatic Relations Held in Beijing

Organized by CPAFFC and the Tanzania Embassy in China, the celebration of 50th Anniversary of China-Tanzania Diplomatic Relations was held in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse Beijing on October 23, 2014. H.E. Mr. Li Yuanchao, Vice President of China, H.E. Dr. Jakaya M. Kikwete, President of Tanzania and other 500 geusts from all fields attended the celebration. Madame Li Xiaolin, President of CPAFFC and H.E. Mr. Abdulrahaman A. Shimbo, Ambassador of Tanzania to China delivered welcome remarks.

Li Yuanchao said in his speech that the two peoples have supported each other since the forging of diplomatic ties 50 years ago, adding both countries had become good all-weather friends. China hopes to work closely with Tanzania to implement the important consensus reached by state leaders of both countries, to enhance substantial cooperation in all areas and boost greater progress of bilateral all-round cooperative partnership.
