On the afternoon of Aug. 15th, 2014, the CPAFFC held the reception celebrating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between China and Brazil. Mr. Wang Qinmin, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Mr. Zhang Ming, Deputy Minister of Foreign Ministry of China, Mr. Xie Yuan, Vice President of CPAFFC, H.E. Mr. Valdemar Carneiro Leao, the Brazilian Ambassador to China attended the reception.

In his address, Vice President Xie Yuan of the CPAFFC said, in recent years, the relations between China and Brazil had been developing fast in all fields. The political mutual trust was being strengthened constantly. The pragmatic cooperation was enlarging rapidly. Culture exchanges had received fruitful result. The friendship between the two peoples was enhancing day by day.

Ambassador Leao spoke highly of China-Brazil relation and the pragmatic cooperation in all fields between the two countries. He said, Brazil would like to strengthen the communication with China, so as to further deepen the traditional friendship between the two countries.
