Mr. Xie Yuan, Vice President of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), met with Mrs. Jaime Moreno, President of Colombia-China Friendship Association (CCFA), and her delegation on October 16th.

Vice President Xie said, it was glad to reunite again with President Jaime Moreno and other old friends in Beijing. He also spoke highly of the efforts and contributions CCFA had made on the cause of China-Colombia friendship since the establishment of CCFA 40 years ago. 

President Jaime Moreno expressed heartfelt thanks for the great support CPAFFC had given in CCFA. Both sides also exchanged their views on further promoting the exchanges and cooperation of the two peoples. During the meeting, President Jaime Moreno wished the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China holding smoothly.

In addition, the Colombian Embassy in China also specially held commemorative activity of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of CCFA and spoke highly of the important contributions CCFA had made on the development of the bilateral relations and thanked CPAFFC for firm support in the cause of the friendship between the two countries over the past years.
