On Oct. 12th, Vice President Lin Yi met with Mr.Francois-Michel LAMBERT, Vice Chairman of Committee of Territory Arrangement and Durable Development of National Assembly (Commission Développement Durable et Aménagement du Territoire de l'Assemblée nationale) and his delegation.
Vice President Lin Yi said, current development of world economy is facing with energy and ecological crisis, and sustainable development is a common topic around the world. The Chinese government pays great attention to environmental protection and sustainable development. The Chinese government have put circular economy into China's national strategy in 2002, and set up pilot cities and pilot projects for it. It is welcome that the delegation from France visits the Chinese cities for the circular economy, and CPAFFC will help and promote the circular economy cooperation between China and France.
Mr. Michel LAMBERT said that, China is in the forefront of legislation and practice of circular economy all over the world. This time they learn much from China, and will report it to President Hollande. Circular economy is increasingly drawn attention from French central and local governments. Paris Region, Rh?ne-Alpes Region, Upper Normandy Region etc. have had willingness to set up pilots.Institute of Economy Circulation of France plans to hold China - France Circular Economy Forum in 2016 or 2017. It is expected that CPAFFC could help to invite and organize the Chinese representatives to participate.
