On Sept. 22nd to 23rd, jointly organized by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), China-Japan Friendship Association (CJFA) and Japan-China Friendship Association (JCFA), the 14th China-Japan Friendly Exchanging Meeting was held successfully in Osaka.
CPAFFC Vice President Xie Yuan led a Chinese delegation to attend and address the meeting. Wang Xiuyun, Director-General of Japanese Affairs of CPAFFC and Utsunomiya Tokuichiro, Vice President of JCFA made the keynote reports respectively on behalf of both sides. Wang Xiaodu, Minister of the Chinese Embassy in Japan, Liu Yiren, Chinese Consul General in Osaka, Sakai Tetsuo, Vice President of JCFA, Matsui Ichiro, Governor of Osaka Prefecture, and in all 300 Chinese and Japanese representatives from all circles attended the meeting. The representatives had in-depth exchange of views on how to bringing China-Japan people-to-people exchanges to a new climax in the current difficult situation.
"Declaration of 14th China-Japan Friendly Exchanging Meeting” was passed and announced at the meeting, which points out the clear direction for China-Japan people-to-people exchanges and is of great significance.
