Mr. Tang Jiaxuan, President of China-Japan Friendship Association (CJFA), met in Beijing with Mr. SHIMIZU TETSUTARO, President of Japanese Matsuyama Ballet Troupe, and Mme. MORISHITA YOKO,Team leader of the delegation on May 17th.
President Tang extended warm welcome to the Japanese Matsuyama Ballet Troupe. He spoke highly of the cherish spirits and unremitting efforts that the two generations have been insisting in for many years promoting the development of China-Japan friendship by the way of the exchanges of culture and art. President Tang said, on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the normalization of China-Japan diplomatic relations, Japanese Matsuyama Ballet Troupe is going to have its 15th performance in China, which is of the important and special significance. He hoped that the Japanese Matsuyama Ballet Troupe would continue carry forward the tradition and produce more works with innovation and enterprising as well as make more contributions to promoting the cultural exchange of the two countries and enhancing the friendly feeling of the two people. He wished the performance in China a complete success.
SHIMIZU TETSUTARO thanked all walks of life in China for giving support and concern to the Japanese Matsuyama Ballet Troupe for many years. Adhering to the Japan-China friendly spirit carried by Mr. SHIMIZU MASAO and Mme. MATSUYAMA MIKIKO, the founders of Matsuyama Ballet Troupe, we would continue to make contributions to promote the cultural exchange of the two countries and the friendship for generations.
