The CPAFFC Vice President Ms. Lin Yi met with Mr. Janan Mosaic, the newly-appointed Afghanistan ambassador in China on March 2nd.

Vice President Lin Yi gave a brief introduction of CPAFFC to Mr. Mosaic, expressed her gratitude for the strong support of Afghanistan Embassy to our association. She said a work team would be sent to Afghanistan in due time for strengthening people-to-people communications between the two countries. Also, she looked forward to establishing friendship cities between China and Afghanistan by cooperating with the Embassy so as to expand China-Afghanistan exchanges to the local governmental level.

Mr. Mosaic highly appreciated the tremendous contribution CPAFFC made in promoting people-to-people exchanges between our two countries. He believed people-to-people diplomacy is the cornerstone of bilateral relations and hoped to cooperate with our association to enhance the mutual understanding and trust between our two peoples. Mr. Mosaic  also expressed his enthusiasm in promoting the establishment of  friendship cities between China and Afghanistan to further local exchanges of the two countries.

Ms. Luan Yutao, Deputy Director General of the Department of Asian and African Affairs was present at the meeting.
