Vice President Lin Yi Met with Mme. Kumba Momoh, Deputy Head of Mission of Sierra Leone Embassy in China

On February 29th, CPAFFC Vice President Lin Yi met with Kumba Momoh, Deputy Head of Mission of Sierra Leone Embassy in China.

Mme. Lin welcomed Mme. Kumba to visit CPAFFC and congratulated Sierra Leone on defeating the Ebola epidemic and its return to the track of development. She introduced CPAFFC’s work in promoting China-Africa local government cooperation and people-to-people diplomacy. She also pointed out that this year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Sirra Leone. The CPAFFC will take this opportunity to enhance cooperation with the embassy and make greater contribution to strengthening China-Sierra Leone friendship.

Mme. Momoh expressed her gratitude to Mme. Lin Yi for sparing the time to meet her, and introduced economic recovery strategies by the government of Sierra Leone in “Post-Ebola Era”. She said that the Sierra Leone government is grateful to the Chinese government and people for their contribution to the fight against Ebola disease and it is looking forward to further development of Sierra Leone-China relations after the FOCAC Johannesburg Summit.
