Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries

At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), Yu Zhengsheng, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met with Antigua and Barbuda’s governor-general Rodney Williams in Beijing on 14th, September.

Chairman Yu Zhengsheng extended his warm welcome to Williams and attended the Fifth Forum of China-Latin American People’s Friendship. He hailed the progress of bilateral ties over the past years. He said China values its relations with Antigua and Barbuda, and hopes to further enrich contents for bilateral relations.

Governor-General Williams expressed that the friendship between Antigua & Barbuda and China will be long-standing. Antigua and Barbuda-China Friendship Association was established recently. He holds the post of honorary president and patron himself, and his wife acts as the president. He hoped that both sides should take this opportunity to further promote the exchanges between Antigua & Barbuda and China.

Madame Li Xiaolin, President of the CPAFFC, Madame Zhang Qiujian, Vice Secretary-General of the CPPCC, Mr Qian Hongshan, Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China attended the meeting.
