Delegation of 2015 China trip of youth ambassadors from United Arab Emirates(UAE) consists of 34 members, and the members visited Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangdong(Shenzhen, Foshan and Guangzhou)from June 25th to August 22nd.
Youth Ambassadors program of UAE is initiated by Sheikh Muhammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince in 2012. The program is an annual international youth exchange program sponsored by Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi and co-organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of UAE. China trip section was added into the program in 2013, and has already held twice in China. Each time, the program selects 20-30 promising youth representatives from top universities of UAE, and sends them to visit China for 3 weeks, during which the youth representatives learn from China’s development experience. While training talents for UAE’s important sectors, such visit also enhances comprehensive understanding of UAE’s youth, particularly elites of UAE’s youth, about China, consequently strengthening the traditional friendship and cooperation between UAE and China. In 2014, recommended by the UAE Embassy in China and Chinese Embassy in UAE, CPAFFC becomes the program’s cooperative partner from Chinese side.

During the delegation’s visit in Beijing, Mr. Arken Imirbaki, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and president of China- Arab Friendship Association (CAFA), met with the delegation. Ms. Lin Yi, the vice president of CPAFFC, held a feast for the delegation.
During the visit in Beijing, the delegation also visited Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the Ministry of Commerce of China, Beijing University of Physical Education, Petro China, Sinopec, CNNC and Xiaomi company. They also had a one-week intensive Chinese language learning class in Beijing Foreign Studies University, and participated lectures on China- Arab economic and trade relations, Chinese business etiquette, and business culture.

In Shanghai, the delegation visited Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. and Borouge Sales and Marketing (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. In Zhejiang, the delegation visited the Alibaba headquarters. In Suzhou, the delegation visited Yingchuang Building Technique(Shanghai) Co.Ltd and Soochow University.

In Guangdong, Mr. Yu Weihua, executive director of Guangdong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (GPAFFC), held a feast for the delegation. For the delegation, CPAFFC, Guangdong Youth Federation, and GPAFFC jointly held China - UAE youth representatives exchange meeting, which Zhang Zhihua, the deputy secretary of the Provincial Youth League, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The delegation visited Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Fantawild Holdings Inc., and Tencent, Inc. in Shenzhen, and visited Guangdong Vanward Group and Hisense Kelon Electrical Holdings Company Ltd. in Foshan.

In addition, this year’s program adds intern section. Under the arrangement of CPAFFC, 7 students who participated the program before interned in China Petroleum Engineering Co., Ltd., Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd headquarters(Shenzhen), Borouge Sales and Marketing (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and UAE embassy in China for 3 weeks, respectively.
Mr.Nasser Mubarak, senior program manager from Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi, evaluated the program in this year as a rich and colorful one with a busy schedule, which reaches great achievements and produces positive influence. The effect of the program is beyond the expectation, and the program in this year is the most successful one among those in recent years. Members of the delegation highly value this opportunity, and fully experience Chinese culture and development through this China trip. The program is very beneficial for the members of the delegation.
