On August 24, 2015, CPAFFC Vice President Lin Yi met with delegation of veterans and family members of Mongolian soldiers taking part in the Chinese War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.  Madame Lin conveyed greetings from CPAFFC President Li Xiaolin and said that the Chinese people will never forget the great sacrifice made by the Mongolian people in support of Chinese peoples’ war against the Japanese invaders. Chinese people will always cherish the remarkable contributions of the older generations of revolutionaries in bringing about the smooth development of bilateral relations. CPAFFC will further strengthen its cooperation with the union for Peace and Friendship Mongolia as well as Mongolia-China Friendship Association for greater achievements in the China-Mongolia friendship cause.

Mongolian delegates recalled the profound friendship fostered between the Mongolian and Chinese army during the war, and expressed gratitude for the great importance attached by the Chinese Government to their visit in China, which will be conducive to the consolidation of Mongolia-Chinese relations.
