Vice President Xie Yuan of CPAFFC met with Bill Clifford, President of World Affairs Councils of America (WACA) and his delegation on October 13th in the compound of CPAFFC.

Vice President Xie Yuan extended a warm welcome to President Clifford. Mr. Xie briefed on the series of events hosted by CPAFFC to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the founding of CPAFFC and the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the US. He also expressed the hope  that CPAFFC and WACA  cooperate with and support each other in future programs to promote mutual understanding and friendship between the United States and China.

President Clifford expressed his wish that the two organizations strengthen communication and cooperation, and work together to elevate the people-to-people exchanges to a new height.
