On July 22nd,2014, CPAFFC Vice President Xie Yuan met with Hipolito Mejia, the former president of Dominican Republic and his delegation. Vice president Xie welcomed Hipolito Mejia to visit China and introduced the contact with Dominica in recent years. Hipolito Mejia thanked CPAFFC''s invitation and expressed that they would continue to devote to promoting the friendly exchanges between the two countries.

The both sides had a discussion on the exchange visits of agriculture, chemical industry and art groups and expressed that they would promote the development of substantive cooperations in these fields by working together.

Gao Shoujian, Consultate of Office of Commercial Development of China in Dominican, attended the meeting.
