CPAFFC Vice President Feng Zuoku met with the delegation of Zimbabwe Parliament Members headed by Hon. Mandi Chimene, Vice President of Zimbabwe-China Friendship Association (ZCFA) on June 25.

Feng welcomed the visit of the delegation and introduced the 60th Anniversary celebrations of CPAFFC. He said that CPAFFC is ready to cooperate with ZCFA and Zimbabwe Parliament for the further exchanges in the fields of culture and local government. Feng also introduced the 2nd China-Africa Local Government Cooperation Forum (CALGC Forum) which will be held in Beijing in August and hoped that the relevant Zimbabwe governors and mayors could actively participate in the Forum.

Hon. Mandi Chimene said the purpose of this Parliament members'' visit is to learn the experiences of China''s fast development and promote the Zimbabwe-China friendly exchanges. She said that she is very happy to know the 2nd CALGC Forum and will promote the relevant Zimbabwe governors and mayors to attend.

H.E. Frederick M. Shava, Ambassador of Zimbabwe to China attended the meeting.
