On the morning of October 11, CPPCC Vice President Mr. Han Qide met with Mr. Kim Jin Bom, Vice Chairperson of the Committee for Foreign Culture Relations of D.P.R. Korea, who visited China for the celebration of the 55th anniversary of the foundation of the China-D.P.R. Korea Friendship Association and the D.P.R. Korea-China Friendship Association at the invitation of CPAFFC. Mr. Li Xiqui, Secretary-General of CPAFFC and Mr. Pak Myong Ho, Charge de''''affair of D.P.R. Korea Embassy attended the meeting.
Mr. Han Qide expressed his warm welcome to the delegation. He said that the China-D.P.R. Korea traditional friendship had already been rooted to the heart of the two peoples and hoped that the two  associations could contributed more to the development of friendship of the two countries.

Mr. Kim Jin Bom thanked Mr. Han Qide for his meeting and expressed his congratulations for China''''s achievements since reform and opening-up. He said that D.P.R. Korea hopes to cooperate with China to make more efforts for the promotion of traditional friendship and the strengthening practical cooperation.
