On June 20, 2025, Vice President Jiang Jiang met with the delegation of mainstream media journalists from Cyprus at the CPAFFC headquarters. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on strengthening people-to-people friendship between China and Cyprus and enhancing subnational cooperation.

Marios Stavrou, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Cyprus in China and Chen Lei, Deputy Director-General of the Department of European and Asian Affairs of the CPAFFC, were present at the meeting.
