On June 3, 2025, Vice President Yuan Mindao met with the Japanese cultural delegation led by Kuboshima Seiichirō, a renowned Japanese writer and Standing Committee Member of the Japan-China Cultural Exchange Association, at the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and hosted a banquet in honor of the delegation. The two sides exchanged views on issues including further promoting people-to-people friendship between China and Japan and enhancing cultural exchanges.

The delegation, organized by the Japan-China Cultural Exchange Association upon the invitation of the CPAFFC, will visit Beijing, Liaoning and Hebei, learn about China's economic and social development achievements, explore historical and cultural heritages, and engage with Chinese cultural professionals.
