2012 年5 月15 日，全国友协在北京召开第十届全国理事会会议，选举李小林为 会长，井顿泉、冯佐库、李建平为副会长，林怡为秘书长。聘请了11 位名誉顾问和 12 位顾问。 习近平同志代表党中央会见与会代表并强调，“友协的工作只能加强不能削弱。 友协自身要加强建设，同时要靠各级党委、政府支持、创造条件，使友协的工作开展 得更好，为我国的经济社会发展，为我国的总体外交发挥不可替代的独特作用。” 李源潮、乌云其木格、蒋树声、陈昌智、桑国卫、戴秉国、白立忱、阿不来提·阿 不都热西提、郑万通、蒋正华、顾秀莲等领导同志参加会见。
The CPAFFC convened the 10th National Council Meeting in Beijing on May 15, 2012. Li Xiaolin was elected President of the CPAFFC. Jing Dunquan, Feng Zuoku, and Li Jianping were elected Vice Presidents, and Lin Yi was elected Secretary- General. The Meeting also named 11 Honorary Advisors and 12 Advisors. Comrade Xi Jinping met with the delegates on behalf of the CPC Central Committee. He emphasized, “The work of the CPAFFC must be strengthened, instead of being weakened. The CPAFFC should enhance its own capacity building. In the meantime, party committees and governments at various levels must support and create conditions so as to help the CPAFFC do a better job, and play an irreplaceable role in promoting China’s economic and social development as well as all-round diplomacy.”Li Yuanchao, Uyunqimg, Jiang Shusheng, Chen Changzhi, Sang Guowei, Dai Bingguo, Bai Lichen, Abdul'ahat Abdurixit, Zheng Wantong, Jiang Zhenghua, Gu Xiulian and other leaders attended the meeting.
