安娜·路易斯·斯特朗 (1885—1970) 美国作家和记者。青年时代投身于争取民主和女权及工人运动。曾五次访华采访报道中国人民争取抗战和革命胜利的事迹。毛泽东主席的“一切反动派都是纸老虎”的著名谈话就是1946 年在延安接受她采访时发表的。1958 年来到中国定居。她主办的《中国通讯》成为外国人了解中国的一条渠道。
Anna Louis Strong (1885—1970) Anna Louis Strong was an American writer and journalist. She took an active part in campaigns for democracy and women’s rights and workers’ movement in her youth. She visited China five times to report on the struggles of the Chinese people for the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and their revolution. Chairman Mao Zedong made his famous statement that “All reactionaries are paper tigers” during an interview by Strong in Yan’an in 1946. She came to settle down in China in 1958. The Letters from China she edited opened a channel for foreigners to know about China.
